Ministry of Youth Development

The following Ministry of Youth Development funds opened yesterday.

 

Within Positive Youth Development Promotion, there are two funds:          

• Youth Development – Programmes and Services Fund

This funds organisations to support the delivery of youth development opportunities. Applications can be for funding between $10,000 and $100,000.

• Youth Development – Opportunity for Young People Fund

·                     This funds young people and organisations to support the delivery of youth-led youth development opportunities. Applications can be for funding between $5,000 and $30,000.

            There is around $1 million worth of funding to be distributed across these two funding streams.

 

Within Expanding Youth Enterprise and Education, there are two funds:

• Youth Enterprise – Programmes and Services Fund

This funds young people and/or organisations to support the delivery of business, enterprise and information technology (IT) education and skills development opportunities to young            people. Applications can be for funding between $10,000 and $100,000.

• Youth Enterprise – Opportunity for Young People Fund

·                     This funds young people to support the development of a new and/or innovative business/enterprise project or idea. Applications can be for funding between $5,000 and $30,000.

            There is around $1 million worth of funding to be distributed across these two funding streams.

 

Applications open at 9.00am on Thursday 31 May and will close at 12 noon on 2 July 2018.
