Do you want a part time job teaching kids about road safety?
Help us to educate 3 – 7 year old children by joining the Waikato Regional Council’s Road Safety Team and delivering the Rūpene te Pea Haumaru Huarahi programme. In this very public role you’ll go to events, schools, pre-schools, kohanga reo and kura kaupapa to teach children about staying safe on and around our roads.
You will be confident and enthusiastic and have a good rapport with children. You will be reliable, organised and will communicate well with adults and children. You will need to be comfortable wearing a costume.
This part time role is a causal position predominantly working school terms.
You will need to have a full driver’s license.
Ability to deliver the lessons in both te reo Maori and English essential.
