Te Whakamaru o Horohoro Maunga—Whanau Monitoring Day

Being active kaitiaki to revive the forest and birdsong of Horohoro

Saturday 1 December 2018

Meet at Kearoa Marae at 8:30 am

We will leave cars at the marae and ferry people by 4WD up to the base of the bush

The day will include checking tracking tunnels for rodent numbers and leg hold traps for possums and a briefing on native bird calls.

Please bring suitable clothing and shoes to walk in the bush, snacks and water.

Lunch is provided.
